pownce for me is out, as the main reason i like about this "microblog/s" is its sms notification as this makes the net and RL well connected in its basic form - voip/im/pstn the advanced - atleast for me. twitter have a larger user base that suits if one is looking for noise. i find forum like threads here quite compelling specially for group discussions though how i wish there's an option to make forum or threads private.

'blog post to twitter', it sends rss feeds to twitter account which in return ill be notified via sms. so im using it as sms notification everytime theres a new rss feed that i need to be updated the soonest possible if not immediate. jaiku send sms notifications for posts but not rss feeds :(

speaking of international roaming, have you tried getting a Roam4Free ? incidentally there's a rumor going around or let's say a wild speculation that google overlords looking at them as their next target now that they have grandcentral.

though what i like about pownce is its private notes but the lack of sms keeps me with jaiku.

so all someone needs to get pertinent infos is just one centralized server. regarding security of data while in transit..im not so sure if it have a secured version as with meebo or pibb or gmail

@edythemighty same here i even have my domain with google and open an account with gtalk2voip. i might be crazy but i can't stop myself using most google services.

sorry.i mean if an individual don't mind or find such insignifant/small intrusion to their personal infos not that critical for them then by all means have it.

it's not about hiding something but too much infos. remember anything that resides in somone's server is technically or legally not yours exclusively. but GC is one great service.its features is very remarkble. if an individual find such small intrusion to their personal infos then by all means have GC its one great service as i said.
